DRUGS AND DRINK BEEN TAKEN IN A CITY CENTRE PLAY PARK

Drugs and drink are being taken by people in Abercorn road play park (pictured above). The Foyle News has been contacted by concerned residents that the issue is ongoing. One resident which doesn't want to be named say's they believe they are coming from properties on the Carlisle Road area. 

The resident says they come and sit outside the gates or sit in the chairs inside the play park to complete their drug use while drinking as well. She says this is a ongoing issue and something needs to be done about it. The Foyle News has contacted the local council who owns the park and the PSNI for statements.
