Local Man Charged on Drug Offences

Police in Foyle have charged a man in relation to drug offences following his arrest in Derry by Support Team officers on Tuesday, January 7.

The 36 year old has been charged with possession of a Class A controlled drug, being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug and possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply.

He is due to appear before Derry Court this morning, Wednesday January 8.

As with all charges, it will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
