Police Appeal after Stabbing

Man Stabbed in Derry

A man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in an assault.

It happened before 02:20am on Saturday in the Glenowen Park area of the city.

Police have said the man's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

They have appealed for anyone with information or with related CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
